Kitsch Hair Accessory Review

I don't know about you, but my hair has really been growing like a weed during this pandemic. It is very thick so I usually break my accessories straight away or they are very short lived so I was on the hunt to find some that wouldn't break.

Being home I've seen all the advertisements online and decided to try some of the trends.

Spiral Hair Ties or Hair Coils

If you are old enough to have had a telephone with a cord in your home, then you will recognize what the kids are using as hair ties these days. Yup.. telephone cords are now being made into spirals for your hair!  The design is supposed to spread pressure over a greater surface to eliminate the ponytail indention that typically comes with normal ties.  They also stretch to 1.5in making them perfect for any hair style, are waterproof, easy to clean, available in many colors, and sizes designed for specific hair thickness (i.e. regular, thick).  I purchased the 8pk for regular hair in brunette for $7.99 Prime and they work like a dream!  I've yet to have one break and they keep my hair secure even during vigorous workouts. They also don't stretch out of shape, get caught when I pull them out, or leave the dreaded ponytail mark!

Satin Scrunchies
Lots has been said about how sleeping on a satin pillowcase is supposed to be better for your hair and skin. Keeping with the trend I found this pack of satin scrunchies to try! They are supposed to keep your hair healthy and strong by preventing breakage, frizz, ponytail indentions, and split ends.  I purchased this 5pk for $7.99 Prime and have slept with them every single night. They are that comfortable!  I have noticed my hair does not have the ponytail mark, frizz, and they are easy to remove without pulling hair out when you remove them. Best part, I've worn these to bed after my hair has been styled and because I don't have the ponytail mark I don't have to worry about styling my hair again.

I absolutely love these new hair accessories and this brand!
I'm testing out more from the line so keep an eye out for those in the future.
