New Skincare at the Drugstore

By now I'm sure you've heard about the Korean Beauty craze. I've been anxious to try some products myself, but have had a problem "pulling the trigger" so to speak because 1) products are not easily accessible and 2) where available online, the products can't be returned. Boo😡...

With that being said, during a recent stroll through my local CVS, you would imagine the excitement that came over me when I saw this in one of the aisles!

Of course, I was ecstatic and I purchased my first K-Beauty Product to try out!  The first product I picked up was the Elisha Coy Moist Up Hyalurone Ampoule Serum
Elisha Coy Moist Up Hyalurone Ampoule Serum
1.7oz, $12.99 at CVS Drugstores
As shown on the Product Packaging - "Contains 70% fermented lotus water instead of purified water. Australia's pure fermented lotus water leaves the foundation of your skin hydrated and clear. Patented low-molecular hyaluronic acid plus natural hydrating oil capsules. Formulated with mild natural ingredients such as lavender and chamomile to be safe on sensitive skin."

I recently ran out of serum and have been wanting to try something that had hyaluronic acid in it.  Based upon the price point, product size, and formula with the list of natural ingredients it was a no-brainer. I am very impressed by this product!  I have been using this serum daily and have to say I am loving it! The serum is clear and has a very light, but pleasant scent.  Upon application, the serum does sink into the skin rather quickly, but doesn't leave a greasy or oily residue behind.  It actually leaves a nice tackiness that is great for foundation to adhere too.  I have stopped using primer because of this and my makeup's staying power has had a much longer wear time than with primers I had been using.  Overall, I have noticed a significant change in my skin over the past few weeks. The appearance of my skin has improved with a natural and brightened look without makeup.  I have also noticed improvements to the oil in my t-zone as well which is a huge plus and my breakouts have decreased.  Obviously, the product is doing it's job to hydrate and keep my skin clear as the packaging claims.

Since, I was so impressed with this product I plan to continue to try and test others in the future. I will  keep you up to date with my thoughts on other products in future posts.

Have you tried any K-Beauty Products? What do you recommend I try next?

Here are few things on my list-
