Thai Style Lettuce Wraps

If you have gone to PF Changs, you know first hand how amazing their lettuce wraps are! Here is my lettuce wrap is pored recipe! Super easy with few ingredients!

2 tablespoons of minced garlic
1 whole yellow onion, diced
1 small bag of slivered almonds
1 bunch of celery, sliced
2 bunches of green onion, chopped
4 lbs chicken breast fillets, cubed
1 bunch of romaine hearts
1 bottle General Tsang Bangkok Peanut Sauce

In a Pan
  1. Add onions and garlic with a tablespoon of oil. I prefer to use grapeseed oil. Stir frequently and simmer until the ingredients carmelize.
  2. Stir in chicken breast combining with onions and garlic. Cook thoroughly.
  3. Add in celery, green onion, and half the bag of slivered onions. Stir until combined. 
  4. Pour in Bangkok Peanut Sauce and mix together. Continue adding sauce until the ingredents are coated evenly. I usually use the whole bottle, but you can add as much as you desire.
  5. Stir until the celery is cooked. 
  6. Add pepper to taste. 
  7. Let cool.
Lettuce Wraps
  1. Pull each whole romaine leaves from bunch 
  2. Wash and dry.
Now, place a tablespoon or more of the chicken in the center of your wrap! 
Dinner is served! Enjoy!
