Directions to Cook Chicken
  1. Lightly coat the bottom of pot with oil and add uncook chicken breasts in the bottom.
  2. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, water, vinegar, honey, brown sugar, garlic, and ginger with a whisk. Pour sauce over chicken and seal the lid.
  3. Select "Pressure Cook" Setting to cook on HIGH (manual) pressure for 8 minutes of thawed or 12mins if frozen).
  4. Turn off unit and let pressure naturally release for 10 minutes. Release the remaining pressure and open the lid.
  5. Transfer chicken to cutting board. Cut into pieces or shred as desired. Set aside.
Preparing the Sauce
  1. Turn on unit and select the "Sautee" setting.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine cornstarch and water mixture with a whisk.
  3. Once the sauce begins to simmer, stir in cornstarch to combine.
  4. Allow sauce to thicken for 1-2 mins and turn off unit.
Combining with Sauce
  1. Add chicken and vegetables (if desired) to the pot.
  2. Stir to cover with sauce. Serve over rice or noodles. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Substitute white vinegar with rice vinegar
  • Serve chicken with sauce alone
  • Optional: sprinkle with green onion, sesame seeds, or add cooked vegetables
